Wake Up!

One of my siblings has this characteristic habit of creating and propagating unverified drug-food interactions for every drug prescribed to him whenever he is ill. He also knows a non drug substitute that can be used in place of Orthodox treatment. I believe there is a herbalist somewhere who schools the young man with all that hogwash.
First, he told me that maltina and milk is heamatinic.
"It gives blood" So he said.
Then he told me that small stout gives blood when mixed with peak milk. Note the brand of milk I called. Peak, specifically.
 Stinking Lies!
The one that almost turned my head upside down is "Bournvita makes pregnant women deliver too big babies"
For heavens sakes, when did bournvita begin a relationship with macrosomia?
Poor bournvita.
I am yet to see any research work that supports the above.
I'm like "Is that what a doctor told you?"
He goes "No. Someone did."
I ask "And that someone studied medicine, right?"
The answer was still "No".
Most patients do not get better even after seeing a doctor because they go about looking for the other person's opinion about drugs prescribed.
Some would mix herbal drugs with Orthodox treatment, further compound their problems and blame the succeeding woes on the doctor's prescription.
Ask the people who meticulously follow their doctor's prescription, they lead healthier lives. It is fact.
Except fate decides otherwise.

Christians, wake up!
Our problems began when we took our gaze off Jesus. When we stopped listening to His Word. When we turned a blind eye to His biddings. When we placed the words of mere men above the Word of God.
Now life has become tough.
We no longer eat meat.
It is a sin to wear clean shoes and smell good.
It is a sin to braid your hair as a lady.
Wearing denim is tantamount to worldliness.
A lady who wears earrings is doomed for eternity.
Your prayers cannot be answered until you take your shoes off your feet.
No anointing oil. No healing.
Ten Hail Marys. Fifteen Glory be to the Fathers.
We no longer listen to God. We  now listen to ourselves.
Friend, things would continue to be like this. They would even grow worse if we do not refix our gaze on Jesus.
It is Him who is the Way. Salvation is hinged in His Name. Confessing Him as Lord and Saviour is all that is required. Living daily for Him is next.
Let's get back to base. Jesus be the center.
Let His grace win.
A song writer once wrote;
"Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in His wonderful Face.
And the things on earth would grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace."
