Maximizing Your December!

It is December! 

Many of us get excited, others get nostalgic. Yet,  another set are just indifferent and would rather watch it pass into the new year. 

I am of the opinion that whatever view we have of the month, often times we really don't put ourselves in a position to maximally tap from the abundant blessings attached. 

How should we approach December?  How should we live in it? What is the importance of the month? These questions are still widely asked by a curious few. 

I would attempt to answer these questions, but I will leave it to you to figure out the exact meaning of your December. 

December, by virtue of its time and season of occurence is a most special month. Religiously, socially, economically and what have you. 

Spiritually, (most especially in the Christiandom), December is the peak of the calendar year. It is the month of the Birth Of Christ. Some other religions and movements have festivals which culminate in December, or thereabout. On this note I think the month should be anticipated for with so much awe. 

We need to be attuned with our inner selves in order to benefit maximally. 

December should be a period of planning. Planning for the coming year. You and your family (if you have one) should sit and discuss the year thus far, and make realistic goals for the coming year. 

Set personal goals and go about thinking of how to get them accomplished. This goes to families, business minds and individuals (especially students who as we know, are young) 

In all parts of the world, there is always a charismatic change in weather. The seasons change at about this time. In the West, winter beckons. In the tropics, the Harmattan. All this prompt a change in lifestyle- from the clothes you wear, the food you eat to the hours you spend outdoors. Of course you wouldn't want your body system beaming a mirror image of the hostile weather condition. 

The "Ember" months also come with all manner of transportation hazards. You'd do well to wrap up all movements before the frenzy of Christmas travelling begins. A look at our hospitals these days tells you more than any words can. 

I need not remind you that desperation also climaxes In  December. I just saw a guy get brutalized by a mob for attempting to steal hens from a poultry farm. Please be on your guard and hide your head. This ain't no time for a show of wealth. It should never be. The harbingers of evil are poaching. 

In the eye of an astute businessman, no time is better. You should have your warehouse fully stocked for the period. I bet you that sales will improve. Make plans to advertise. Produce more, supply more. You really need to save for December. 

Saving concerns us all. Though saving for December is imperative, saving in December is more important because in the spirit of the time, most people wantonly expend all they've gathered for christmas. When the new year dawns, they are broke. Please save now and enjoy later. 

To be fully ready to celebrate Xmas and enter the new year, peacemaking is the key. Be at peace with yourself and with your neighbour's as Christ advised. Send cards and gifts to loved ones. Have fun and make memories. Live!

Please put aside any indifference because there is a whole lot to get in actively experiencing December. 

This is all I can presently  think of. I know there are a million others,  but I am off to execute my own December plans 😁. However, with careful studying of your environment and a will to learn, trust you to excel in December and be here with us come the beautiful new year.
