Pinocchio is known for having a short nose that becomes longer when he is lying.
Maybe that's one thing I will implement if I have supernatural powers. Because some people can lie for a living... Gooosssshhhh!!!
Paradox is an unseemly absurd statement but if investigated well may prove to be true.
Probably you’ve not heard of this before, but if Pinocchio said the statement “My nose will grow now” it would be a paradox…Pinocchio is a wooden puppet that is manipulated with wires
Let me explain the Paradox. For instance Pinoccio says "My nose will grow now" - If his nose grows, it means he was Lying but if his nose does not grow, it means he was not lying.
But let's come to his statement in reality, he said my nose will grow now and his nose actually grew (then why call this a lie?) or his nose did not grow when he said it will grow(It's this not actually a lie?)
The above is quite difficult to understand but take your time to read it over again.
Basically, his nose would have to grow to make Pinocchio’s statement not a lie, but then it can’t grow otherwise the statement would not be a lie.
