Well to my best of understanding i think cheating is a dishonest and deceiving act by individuals who are in a relationship. I would love to get other definitions should incase mine doesn't go down well with you.
Now lets go down and evaluate some reasons why men cheat.
He thinks it's a status symbol: In the olden days a man with one wife was considered a weakling and unsuccessful in the society.
i was speaking with a friend of mine and he said it's in men's DNA to cheat and all men are polygamous in nature i laughed till i almost fell off a chair.
He even went further by saying success and power are like magnet that draw women, so women want a guy who can spend and protect her and they use this as a medium to have fun with any girl that dance to their success story.
Variety and changes: some men feels they deserve other varieties They want new experience and get bored by doing the same thing over and over again. A buddy of mine was like "bros, u go just dey chop ogbono soup dey go without wanting to taste egusi?? As for me i go tire for dat kinda soup ooo" at this moment i laughed mhen. Even one of my then lecturers said it and the class(especially the guys) erupted into cheers. Well i could understand what he meant by that and i am sure a lot of guys understands that too.
It boost men's ego: Nothing feels so great like when you are been chased by the opposite sex or when ladies find you attractive. like my nigga from africa would say "she dey give me green light". Ladies have this thing for fine, attractive and tall guys and most guys use this as an avenue to have fun with the ladies.
Boring sex life: some men wants very weird sex activities.. A paddy of mine said "bros, me dey like skillful sex oo i no get time for papa and mama style (missionary) lol" some male friends keep complaining about how their partner wouldn't allow them perform certain positions and how their partners deprive them of sex, most men get irritated by this idea and tend to look for fun and variety in other areas available.
Poor role model: A man whose father, Uncle, elder brother cheated on their partner is most likely to cheat. This is because they see this people as role models and feel it's normal since they are doing it.
Some men see cheating as a part of trophy: most men feel that each women they are able to take to bed, is a sort of victory or conquest when bragging to their guys.
